About Tailgating Specialties
It started with a few guys who love to tailgate.
We wanted better gear for our own tailgates, so we started building it ourselves. One project led to another, and Tailgating Specialties grew from there.
How we got here
From tailgate projects to a full shop
Tailgating Specialties started pretty simply. We’re a group of guys who love tailgating, hanging out with friends, watching games, and having good gear around when we do it. We started building our own cornhole boards because we wanted something we’d actually be proud to bring to a tailgate.
People liked what we were making, so we kept going. Cornhole boards turned into more games, drinkware, signs, gifts, custom pieces, and a whole lot of other stuff. What started as something we built for ourselves grew into the business you see today.
Eventually, we outgrew the space we had and built a 20,000-square-foot building to serve as our tailgating headquarters. That’s where we work on our custom builds, keep products, and come up with new things to make.
We also added a professional engraving laser to the shop, which opened the door to even more custom work. Today we can personalize a wide range of our own products and take on certain customer-owned items too.
We actually use this stuff
We didn’t start this company because somebody handed us a product catalog. We started it because we like tailgating, games, and building things we’d want to own ourselves.
Custom work is a big part of what we do
A lot of our favorite projects start with somebody saying, “I’ve got an idea.” Send it to us. If we can make it work, we’ll figure it out with you.
